How usage is measured

Outbound quota follows recipient attempts, not message count.

EmailDesk records quota at a genuine provider-handoff attempt. Local pre-provider blocks use zero units, while a later provider rejection or deferral remains part of the original billable attempt.

Read the complete attachment quota guide
Ten recipients, no attachment

One message to ten unique To, Cc, or Bcc recipients uses 10 recipient units after provider handoff.

Regular mailbox attachment

A 6 MB attachment to ten recipients creates 60 MB delivery volume: 10 recipient units plus 2 attachment units, or 12 total.

Local protection block

A message stopped before provider handoff uses 0 outbound units. It is not counted as an attempted provider delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Pricing, quota, and delivery questions.

Is the EmailDesk trial free?

Yes. The guided trial does not require a payment card or online payment. Its current user, domain, mailbox, daily outbound, and monthly outbound limits are shown in the live comparison above.

Are the paid prices shown per month?

Yes. The published amounts are the current base monthly package prices in BDT. EmailDesk confirms the approved product access, migration work, sending profile, domain readiness, and operational scope before paid activation.

What counts as an outbound unit?

Each unique To, Cc, or Bcc envelope recipient uses one recipient unit when EmailDesk makes a genuine provider-handoff attempt. A message to ten recipients therefore uses ten recipient units. Applicable attachment units are added separately.

Do locally blocked messages consume quota?

No. A message stopped by EmailDesk before provider handoff uses zero outbound units. A genuine provider attempt remains billable if the provider later rejects or defers it, and provider acceptance does not guarantee final delivery or inbox placement.

How do attachment units work?

Regular mailbox sending receives one shared 50 MB attachment-delivery allowance per send, then uses one additional unit per started 5 MB. Marketing sending has no free attachment allowance and uses one additional unit per started 1 MB of total attachment-delivery volume.

Can a retry charge the same send twice?

Supported EmailDesk relay retries reuse a durable receipt and quota key for the same recognized delivery batch. A new direct API or application submission is a new send, so applications should inspect EmailDesk evidence before replaying an uncertain request.

Does a package guarantee inbox delivery?

No. EmailDesk can verify sender requirements, apply outbound controls, record its queue and provider responses, and support troubleshooting. Recipient providers still control final acceptance, filtering, Spam or Junk placement, and inbox delivery.
